The Lorrae Desmond Show (1960-1964) was an early ABC TV production hosted by Lorrae Desmond, who was best known for her character, Shirley Gilroy, on the series A Country Practice (1981-1994).
The show featured live performances and choreographed dance numbers by the Channel 2 Dancers.
With a female host, The Lorrae Desmond Show was a rarity for the early 1960s. The opening sequence, as seen in this clip, also seems quite risqué for the time.
