From Frogstomp to Freakshow was a special from the ABC program Recovery, and made in conjunction with Silverchair's record company, Murmur Music. The special featured an exclusive interview with the band and live performance footage, tracing their rise from 15-year-old schoolkids to their status as one of Australia's most popular musical groups. This clip shows the band performing ‘Tomorrow’ at Newcastle’s Cambridge Hotel in June 1995. Shot in semi-darkness with chaotic camera angles, it reflects the raw, unfiltered energy that made Frogstomp such a force.
Their debut album Frogstomp, released on 27 March 1995, sold nearly three million copies worldwide and the lead single ‘Tomorrow’ became 1995’s most-played song on American modern rock radio, topping both Billboard’s modern rock and album rock tracks charts. This excerpt from the TV special features part of a live performance of 'Tomorrow'.
From Frogstomp to Freakshow screened on the ABC on 22 November 1997.
